The team did an amazing job transforming my yard with their turf—it looks lush and natural. The installation was quick, and the crew was professional from start to finish. I've already recommended them to my neighbors.

I live in Treasure Island and needed an artificial grass contractor for a synthetic lawn installation. The Artificial Grass Pros were the first to respond, and they were also the best in terms of price and quality.

Installation quality
What makes artificial grass last is what you don't see
Ground preparation
Removing existing sod, roots and organic soil helps prevent settling and weeds pushing through later.
Base grading & compaction
A compacted aggregate base, graded to the right slope, keeps the surface flat and stable.
Drainage
Turf only drains as well as what's underneath it. Grading directs water away from the home and low spots.
Seams & edging
Matched grain direction and secured perimeters make seams hard to spot and help stop edges lifting.
Right turf for the use
Pet, play, putting and landscape turfs differ in pile height, density and backing. We match product to purpose.
Honest maintenance
Expect occasional rinsing, debris removal and brushing — far less than a natural lawn, but not zero.
Our process
Our Artificial Grass Installation Process
01
of 5 steps
Step 01
Consultation & measurement
We evaluate how you'll use the space, site access, exact dimensions, soil conditions and existing drainage before recommending any turf or base materials.
Step 01
Consultation & measurement
We evaluate how you'll use the space, site access, exact dimensions, soil conditions and existing drainage before recommending any turf or base materials.
Step 02
Site preparation
Existing grass, roots and vegetation are removed. We assess the subgrade and excavate to the depth your project requires — deeper for high-traffic and sports areas.
Step 03
Base & drainage
Aggregate type, compaction and grading are chosen for your site's soil and rainfall. The base is graded to shed water away from your home, then compacted in lifts.
Step 04
Turf installation
Turf is oriented so the grain runs one direction, precision-cut, seam-joined, secured around the perimeter and finished with infill where required.
Step 05
Final walkthrough
We inspect seams, edges, surface consistency and drainage work with you, then hand over simple care instructions so your lawn keeps looking its best.

Why we choose these materials
Florida's sandy soil and heavy summer rain demand a crushed-aggregate base that compacts firmly yet lets water pass through. We pair it with flow-through backing and UV-stabilized fibers so your lawn stays level, drains fast and keeps its color.

Artificial grass questions, answered
How much does artificial grass installation cost?
Price depends on square footage, excavation depth, base material, drainage work, turf product and site access. Every quote is written after a free on-site measurement.
How is artificial grass installed?
We remove existing grass and soil, install and compact an aggregate base graded for drainage, then lay, seam, secure and infill the turf.
Does artificial grass drain during heavy Florida rain?
Yes. Perforated or flow-through backing combined with a properly graded aggregate base drains water quickly, even after summer storms.
Does artificial grass get hot in the Florida sun?
Turf can get warmer than natural grass in direct sun. Cool-touch products, lighter infills and a quick rinse help reduce surface temperature.
Is artificial grass good for dogs?
Pet turf with permeable backing and antimicrobial infill is easy to rinse, durable against digging and resists odor.
What maintenance does artificial grass need?
Occasional rinsing, leaf and debris removal, and periodic brushing to keep the fibers upright.
